Different ideas of what a shower head should be

The comparison is really about format, not brand.

Delta’s In2ition is a two-in-one. A fixed head and a handheld on one fitting. You get both, and when both run they share the flow.

Moen’s Engage is a handheld. One head on a hose, parked on a magnetic dock. Simpler, and the whole flow goes through one head.

Spec by spec

Docking. Both magnetic. Moen publishes that Magnetix always docks facing forward; Delta publishes MagnaTite as a powerful integrated magnet.

Spray settings. Moen publishes six functions on both Engage models. Delta publishes five plus pause.

Hose. Delta publishes 60 in. on the 1.75 and 60 to 82 in. stretchable on the 2.5. Moen publishes 60 in. on the 26100 and no length for the 26112.

Flow. Delta offers a WaterSense 1.75 gpm model. Both Moen models here are 2.5 gpm, though Moen sells Eco-Performance versions.

Warranty. Moen publishes a limited lifetime warranty on both. We do not hold a Delta warranty figure for these models, so we will not state one.

Which to buy

Delta if you share the shower with someone who wants a fixed head, if you want the longest hose, or if saving water matters. The two-in-one picks are here.

Moen if you want one head with the most spray options and the cleanest docking. The handheld picks are here.

Every head here rates Safe on our install rating — one threaded joint, one wrench, fully reversible.
